October 1st, 2008 Lucid Productions enters negations with financiers, and two Los Angeles nightclubs, in preparation to launch the American Premiere of anime. In the meantime, schedules and casting are being confirmed for a remount of the production at EdmontonÕs New City Suburbs, February 2009.
August 23rd, 2008 anime rises as a hit of the Edmonton Fringe Festival, attracting nearly 2000 viewers in its nine show run. Acclaimed by local press, Lucid Productions is now taking steps to remount anime in a Hollywood nightclub.

January 18th, 2008 Lucid Productions writer/producer, Keith Wyatt, receives funding from the Alberta Foundation for the Arts for production of the Anime playscript, created with support from the Canada Council for the Arts. December 7th, 2007 With character concept art completed, established artist Laura Lee begins work on The Blade & The Butterfly manga adaptation.
September 15th, 2007 Lucid ProductionsÕ artistic director, Keith Wyatt, teams up with Contraption Studios to direct the upcoming animation short, Urbanism.
April 17th, 2007 Affiliated companies Proteus Entertainment and Ecstasy Film Inc. begin pre-production for the feature film Ecstasy; based on the same-titled novel by British author Irvine Welsh and the acclaimed play by Lucid Production’s Artistic Director, Keith Wyatt.
February 14th, 2007 Visionary comic artist Patrick Henaff begins character concept art for the Manga adaptation of Lucid ProductionÕs The Blade & The Butterfly.
